The Global Filter is located at the top of each page of your EHS-Dashboard™ and sets the date range and document filter for the data visualized on each page of the application


This is called a "Global Filter" because the settings will apply to all EHS-Dashboard™ views. As a result, you can navigate between different types of reports without having to update the filter on each page. 


The Global Filter enables you to select: 

  • Viewing: All Facilities or a Single Facility (Only applicable if your EHS-Dashboard™ is organized as a Site with multiple Facilities or Departments)
  • Date Range: Look at year over year data, or as granular as a single week
  • Category: Use this setting to filter Performance > Environmental Metrics to specific Categories.  (This may appear as "Select Calendar Item" or "Select Report" depending on which tab you are currently on.)


To update the Global Filter, just click on the filter you want to update, make your changes, and then click "Apply Filter" on the far right. 


**NOTE: the Filter will not update unless you select "Apply Filter"
